Alexis’ family last heard from her on Friday, 27th November at 6 pm. Her mother told ABC13 that her husband called on Saturday, November 28, to say that she was missing and he had not heard from her since that Friday evening. Her body was found by a city worker who saw her feet sticking out of the bushes on the side of the road. The cause of death and investigations are pending autopsy results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
